for all the education we've got, all the information before us, the languages we mastered we lost the ability to communicate. all because we have to be appropriate.
Here's a bit of george carlin to help you out (or not) "One recent morning there was something I couldnt remember.I I sort of knew what it was related to , but I couldnt quite bring it to mind.It seemed like the letter m was involved. Then suddenly , it came to me.That was in the morning. Then later that afternoon , even though I was able recall my experience that morning of not being able to remember something , I could no longer remember what the thing was , what it was related to , or what letter of the alphabet had been involved. But what's strange to me is that that morning , the first time I couldnt remember it , the thing did eventually come back to me.Later that afternoon , however, inspite of my earlier success , I drew a complete blank.I still don't know what it was , and the nice thing is that a month from now I will have no memory of the incident whatsoever.unless , of course , something reminds me of it "
Of course , it should be noted that throughout history philosophers have lamented on the inability and inadequacy of language to express our true feelings and ideas, and that memories are fragile things , built of cobwebs that the mind spins and all that jazz...
is it impt to remember what we have lost?
